Ivie’s Bedroom Source List

Hello!! Lets dive right into the sources for Ivie’s room makeover shall we? (Psst there is still time to vote for it to win $5000 for The Children’s Miracle Network)

I love when rooms are full of DIY projects, because then you guys have the chance to recreate the parts that you like, I especially love when there is a tight budget because that’s where creativity gets to take over.

My favorite project in the room is the canopy bed. Man I love that thing! The best part is that its made from $.89 lumber! Watch for the tutorial later this week!

You can find the tutorial for the leather fringe pillow here and the Moroccan pillow is vintage from one of my favorite local stores Urban Renewal.

The giant himmeli wreath kit is in the Vintage Revivals Shop and you can find the tutorial here!

The shelves are a super simple DIY with basic treasures from Home Depot (tutorial coming next Monday!)

Vintage Revivals Girls Bedroom Makeover-2

Everything is thrifted or secondhand , with the exception of the geode string art, white canister, large geometric vase (found at Homegoods), white faceted bowl, dog painting and colored pencil holder.

After seeing a hanging rope chair at the HGTV Dream Home I absolutely 100% had to have one. After digging around the internet for a while, I found the best one here!

  1. I love your blog and have been following for quite some time. Your work is truly amazing and inspiring and I look forward to seeing your new posts! However, the pop-up ads are out-of-control now. 🙁 I can barely type this comment because it’s so slow due to a video trying to come through. (There is a Caribou Coffee ad that has an X to close it but it just won’t let me.) I just don’t see how followers can enjoy scrolling through your beautiful content with all of these crazy ads.

    1. Hey Jessica!
Thanks so much for the heads up, what device/browser are you on? We took out quite a lot of ads last month and thought that things were looking better but I will definitely look into it more! Is it a full pop up? Or one in the lower part of the screen? Thanks for the feedback!!

      1. Hi Mandi, I’m using Google Chrome on my PC. The Caribou ad that wouldn’t close was at the bottom of the screen and I couldn’t make out what kind of video it was that kept trying to pop up while I was typing a comment.
        Thanks!

      2. Thanks for getting back to me Jessica! I’ll pass this info along to my ad guy and see if we can get it worked out!

  2. What a beautiful room! I really want a hammock chair in my room too, but I am concerned about how to attach it safely to my ceiling without leaving a huge hole. Do you have a tutorial on how to do something like that?

  3. Hey Mandi! Did you ever end up posting a tutorial for the bed? I can’t seem to find it anywhere!

  4. Hey, commented on another post, and then saw you listed the origin of the vase here! But the link is broken 🙁 Could you tell me where it was from? Thanks!

  5. Hi Mandi! I check-in to your blog to read the updates on the merc all the time. I’m so excited for you and your family. Y’all are goals!!! I know your busy but I’m hoping that you have the canopy bed tutorial saved somewhere and are able to easily post it.
