Doing this series was a massive learning experience in more ways than one. Would you believe it if I told you that the hardest part was getting ready just to work on projects? Apparently its the little things. I’m dying to know, which project was your favorite? I love the watercolor wall and the brass sconces the most. You can check out all of the episodes (that you might have missed) here!

  1. Can we purdy please get a source list for this project? The brass parts? Where do you like to purchase your cloth cord from? I know some of the parts were posted from HD in the video. Also, I love you. #girlcrush 😉

  2. I will definitely be attempting this! It’s a bit scary cos I’ve never made a lamp from scratch before but you make it look easy 😉 I’m just not sure where I’m going to get all that stuff here in Ireland!

    1. Is Ace Hardware a national chain? They sell them there… It’s a pretty standard over-sized vanity bulb. Could probably find it at Home Depot too!

  3. I’m in love with the final design, lighting is definitely an intimidating DIY! I’d have to say my favorite from series was by far the Upcycled Thrift store Art, it was so creative. This was a really fun series!!

  4. oh WOW!! love love love this project! thank you for breaking it down step by step, I feel a lot more confident that I could successfully create a light from scratch. definitely bookmarking this so I can give it a shot in the very near future…

  5. I would LOVE a source list, too, so I know what to buy and where to buy it! I love the lights. Thank you!

  6. I love your lighting, I really do! I’m going to be brave and try my hand at it 🙂 Is it possible to put written directions and a list of supplies on your site?

  7. Oh man, I love these! I saw a few other posts about a source list… Is one available? I’m definitely going to try this, just want to make sure I have the right stuff. Thank you!

  8. Source list please! I really want to attempt this, but you go through the products needed in the video SO quickly.

    Keep up the awesome work!

  9. Any chance there’s a link to where you bought supplies?? I want to do this SO bad but can’t quite figure out the sizes and necessary parts just by the video.

    Thanks!!
