Personality Paint Color Test With My Colortopia

By Mandi 12/21/2011

If you tell me right now that you don’t like personality tests I will tell you that your pants are on fire and ask how the view from the telephone wire is. I LOVE personality tests. They are just so fun. Glidden is pretty much a genius machine. They took the BIGGEST DIY dilemma and a personality test and created a big happy love baby.

This website is full of amazingness. They have a team of  some of the BEST DIY bloggers (like Melissa and Kate) that are there to share tons of color inspiration to help you with the all too complicated task of choosing a paint color.

But here is the fun part.

They have a personality test! EEEEEEEEEEEE!

Here are some of the questions:

Really how fun is that!?

So does it work? This is what it came up with for my Colortopia picks:

Yellows? Check. Gray? Check. Cool Blues? Check. Pretty awesome. So are you dying to try it yourself?

You can start taking the test below!

I have partnered with Glidden/Akzo Nobel Paints to write this post because I knew that my wonderful readers would love it. The opinions are my own.

  1. I guess my personality doesn’t match my color likes because I ended up with gross pastels. Like peachy and minty colors…..EW!!! I LOVE the color palette you ended up with though. Although red is to me like yellow is to you!

  2. Took the test, and came up with 2 of the colors that the living/dining room/kitchen are painted. I love the 3rd color, blueberry, and now have the perfect color to paint a bathroom on this same level. Cool 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

  3. Mine was pretty close!!! I love quizzes!!!! Your opening line was wayyyy to awesome….where do you come up with your funnies? I guess some of us have it and some dont…..that would be ME!!! LOL
