    In fact, I just got my Silhouette because of your Pillow Post and am IN LOVE with pillow covers now. I just used my Silhouette for the first time about a week ago and am ready to try another project. I would love some additional tools to help this poor rookie out!

  63. random act of kindness...my girlfriend has a friend that i know through her. well, she has been posting pictures with her lately on her blog and she is looking great. the girl doesn't blog, but does fb (and i don't), so i sent her a text the other day saying how great i think she looks. she is a mama of 3 beautiful kids and i know that she works hard to do what she can. there has been something different about her lately and i thought she she know! when she got my text, she had no clue it was me...guessed and got it right and said i made her whole year. just with a few simple words! glad i could make her day!

    As a 23 year old on a budget, bouncing from crappy rental to crappy rental I am always looking for ways to make my apartments look and feel like home. I am addicted to these blogs and am always looking for new ones to get brilliant thrifty ideas from.
    It's nice to know there are others out there that can't pass a thrift store without picking up at least one piece of buried treasure.

  174. My random act of kindness for the day was that I helped an elderly lady at the library today. She was trying to set up a Paypal account but doesn't know how to use the internet, so I helped her set one up so she could send money to one of her children. =) I also gave her my name and number and told her she could call me ANY time if she had a question or needed help with something and that I would be happy to help her.

    It's always nice to help other people!
