Update!

WARNING LOTS OF WORDS AND NO PICTURES AHEAD….READ ON, CAUSE ITS WORTH IT!

Holy cow I am completely overwhelmed by everyone’s concern for our little family! I fo shizzy dont want to go through an accidednt like that again. But on the flip side I am amazed at the peace that I have been blessed with. If we had to roll over it was kind of ideal how it happened. Ultra slow motion so we had time to brace for it. I think that our car is totaled which sucks terribly, but I can tell you that there has never been a more wonderful moment in all of my life than looking in the backseat to my girls hanging upside down and seeing that they were alive and alright. It is just another miracle that we have been blessed with!

You may have noticed a new doo dad on my header….I am so exited to announce that I am a new resident blogger for {The DIY Club}! If you are living under a rock and dont know what the DIY Club is let me bring it to light. Every month they host a Project Parade where you can link up your projects that you have done using products from their sponsors. Ok now here is the best part.

The winner recieves $1,500 yes, that is FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS worth of product from their {sponsors}! EVERY MONTH!!

And here is the best part. Ever heard of Krylon? How about Gorilla Glue? Oooooh and Purdy? I know that you have heard of Deco Art paint,  and Dremel tools. I know that every.single.project that I have done on my blog has used at least one of these sponsor products. You probably have tons of great projects just waiting to bring momma home that INSANE prize!

So who wants to win?  The next link up party will begin in Dec. and I will for sure be announcing it!

Are you the not so much creative but an awesome copy cat type? There are new projects posted almost every day that the DIY Gals and Resident Bloggers have come up with using these awesome products. And you can link them up too!

I am not officially a Resident Blogger until Dec. 1 which is awesome for me beacuse my faux fireplace is currently in the {top 10}. Please head over and see all of the other flat out amazing projects that make up the other nine.

You also may notice that I have a new page button “My Real Life Story”. I have gotten a few comments and emails from the sweetest people asking me how I can do all of this. They think that my life is perfect….which is CRAZY. Because you would be shocked to hear the things that my hubs and I have overcome in our short 9 years. I will be posting about all of this in the next week or two. I am sharing this with you because in this world we live in there is so little faith, and an even smaller amount of hope for those that deal with Addiction. I hope that by sharing my story you can find more peace and hope in your life.

PS the Lamp survived the accident so the {giveaway} is still on! Make sure you enter, cause that thing just might be good luck!

  1. I’m hurting for you! Glad to hear that everyone is ok. Sad to hear of the accident. It will take me a long time to forgive Studio 5 for inviting you up without flying you:) Congrads on the DIY club! And, you are brave to share your story. It should help some and others, like me, will just be more grateful of events and trials that haven’t occured in our lives. You rock. If I was rich, I’d buy you a new car!

  2. I’m so glad you are all okay and really sorry that it happened to you! Congratulations for becoming a new blogger for the DIY club, that is very exciting!!

  3. Mandi,

I was thinking about you so much these last couple of days! The weather has been so crazy and I just imagined how scary it would be to actually be rolling in a car with your kids, worrying about them and your own safety! But SOO relieved to know that they were alright. Congrats on Studio 5 and DIY club! Big things happening to you and you totally deserve it!!

PS Don’t be too busy now to leave snarky comments on my blog, k? 🙂

  4. I am so glad you are OK…I am always so worried about having an accident while the kiddos are in the car.

n a lighter note….Welcome to the DIY Club! It is going to be so much fun…we have a great team going on and great products! There is going to be so much awesomeness happening at The DIY Club!
