  7. I would so love to win anything you’ve made Mandi! Again, congrats on the amazing job you did today on Studio 5! I imagine you were nervous about being on TV, but it didn’t show. Thanks for sharing all that you do with us, Dianne in UT.

  8. I hope you’re ready for your new career, Miss Mandi. I believe that fame and fortune are awaiting you…you were made for this!…AND that lamp was made for me. I want to have that lamp so that I can say it’s a “Mandi” original back when! GO MANDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Entry 1)

  9. You will have to trust me when I say I spend most of the afternoon doing for someone else. It was a stressful and bittersweet day, but I’m pleased that I could be there for her. HUGS Superstar! (Entry 2)

  10. Mandi – I really want to win that lamp but if I don’t then I hope that Tonya will! You know I’ve been a follower from the beginning!

  15. My RAK- While my lil brother was here visiting yesterday, I “borrowed” his car to go to the store since he was parked behind me. While there I filled up his gas tank since I knew he was running low on $ and didn’t tell him about it…

  16. So, I walked into Anthropologie one night and took a picture of this very cute, unique lamp. The very next day I come online and what have you posted??? The very thing I saw…BRILLIANT!

  20. p.s. I do random acts of kindness nearly daily. Today I am babysitting for a friend so she can go to a matinee. Yesterday I cleaned up some litter while I was out on my walk and threw it away. Surely that’s worth a double entry in your drawing???

  35. I did many RAK last week…does that count? Oh, and I will be making one friend very happy tonight by putting together a surprise party for her 30th birthday. That’s gotta count. Hahaha – I just REALLY want that lamp!

  36. I just found your blog after watching your spot on Studio 5! The lamp is an amazing idea, perfect for Christmas gifts for my in laws…

I read your post about the new part of your blog, I am really looking forward to reading it, it mentions some hard things you have had to go through and I wonder if it is something I have been going through for the past year. I am 8 months pregnant with a little son, which happened really quickly after my first little daughter. I was pregnant when I found out what a trial addiction can be and how it affects a family, and I am looking forward to some encouragement from you.

Thank you for being such a good example to so many people!

  37. I was walking on campus and this guy in front of me dropped his stuff and I stopped to help pick it up. Maybe not random enough, but it definitely wasn’t planned

  38. I am a follower and just love the creativity you give expression to on your blog. I am going to try to make a lamp as a very special Christmas gift this year. My sister, who has been trying to adopt for several years, just learned that on Nov. 30 she and her husband will leave to finalize the adoption of their children, an 8 and 9 year old brother and sister from the Ukraine. Her children are a very special and very wanted gift this Christmas and I hope to be able to make a very special pink and white lamp for her daughter – that looks even half as good as your lamp! (Still seeking inspiration for a special gift for her son’s room!) 🙂
    What a wonderful giveaway!

  39. In traffic today, I watched as car after car refused to let a woman out into the turning lane. I moved my car over one lane and stopped, forcing the cars behind me to stop, so that she could finally pull out of the parking lot. Not sure if that was a random act of kindness, but I do believe that you get back what you give, and I try to live that truth each day (some days more successfully than others).

  40. oh my gosh. so so so so glad you guys are okay!! when grandpa told me you guys rolled i felt so bad! how scary!

my mom and i bought the stuff to make lamps this week. BUT one can never have too many tea cup lamps, right?!

when we actually put them together i will take a picture and show ya. so excited. while we were at tj’s we were joking that there probably wouldn’t be any cute tea pots/cups left since everyone saw you on studio five they’d want to run out and make one too!! love ya!

  41. Hi Sister!! I love you so much and your amazing!!!! If I don’t win pretty sure we are making one when I see you for Christmas. Or this just might be my awesome Christmas present 🙂
